Katie and Scott

Katie and Scott

These two were troopers on their wedding day. We started off the afternoon by entering the Old Decatur Courthouse a little too early and then all of the sudden the security alarm is going off!  Oh, and did I mention it was raining? Jess Fouts made it work in the old ballroom and if I hadn’t said anything you never would have known by these gorgeous pictures! When life hands you a torrential down pour on your wedding day, pull out an umbrella and head to the bar, right?!! That’s what Katie and Scott did at the end of their wedding night. I’m sure they will always remember the rain, but hopefully it doesn’t take away from the fun evening had by all!

Mary and Scott

August 25th, 2012 Mary and Scott Lengel

There is not much I do not love about this wedding. I love the colors, I love the people, I love the flowers, I love the couple and I love the energy that was in the room that night at the Old Decatur Courthouse. The energy probably had something to do with the belly dancer that Mary hired to surprise Scott. Yes, I said belly dancer. It was quite a show!!Mary had a smile from ear to ear the entire day. Just like a little girl on Christmas morning. There were actually times throughout the day that she couldn’t even speak from being so excited. And then there were times when she just kept saying over and over, “Is this real?, I can’t believe this is happening. This seems so unreal!” So pretty much her wedding was absolutely perfect and beautiful and she couldn’t have asked for more! The Reason I love Photography captured all the things I loved about this day and there were so many pictures it was so hard to just pick a few. I think this one is magazine worthy, don’t you?

Congratulations Scott and Mary!! And many thanks to their wedding team…..

Lindsay and Alex

Lindsay and Alex were married on one of the hottest days in June here in Atlanta, GA. (Well, maybe I say that about every day here in the summer) But nevertheless, it was a beautiful and perfect day. Lindsay and Alex went to Georgia Tech and actually only a few weeks before were finishing up tests to get ready to make the final details for their wedding day. Thank goodness she had a superwoman of a mom to help her plan this big day. Once Like a Spark was in heaven with all the beautiful back drops that Atlanta Botanical Garden had to offer for photos. They really were able to capture all the little details that help make up this happy story for Lindsay and Alex. Enjoy!

Alaina and Kevin June 2, 2012

Finally getting to see some of the gorgeous pictures from our busy month of June! First up….Alaina and Kevin, June 2!

We were so glad to be back at Park Tavern in the Piedmont Room for Alaina and Kevin’s beautiful day. It was a hot day, but who was thinking about the heat when you had that gorgeous Atlanta skyline in the background. The park was busy, the weather was perfect and the flowers were breathtaking. Alaina was a bride that knew exactly what she wanted from the very get go and nobody was about to change her mind. While trying to complete the Physicians Assistant program at Mercer University, wedding planning never took the back burner. She was one of the most organized brides I have ever worked with and just adored her groom, Kevin Burran! This turned out to be such a magical night. We even got to hear Alaina’s grandpa sing us a Sinatra tune! Thanks guys for letting us be a part of your special day.

Thank you to Lori Suzanne Photography, Nick Crowder with Atlanta Bands and Dj’s, Lulu’s Bakery, Piedmont Room at Piedmont Park, Blossoms Atlanta and Atlantic Limo for helping to make this day so perfect for Alaina and Kevin!

Tea Party Birthday for Miss Ella Grace

Definitely biased on this one, but I can imagine that no other 3 year old has a better party planner than my lovely Ella Grace! 🙂 3 yrs old, 30 yrs old or 83 yrs old, its hard not to enjoy a frilly hat, tasty crumpets and a “spot of tea”. And that’s what my little girl got to experience at her tea party this year. It was so much fun to see the girls, and mom’s, just giggle and smile at all the pretty things. Everything on the menu was bite size, and a favorite of Ella Grace’s, of course!  They even got to enjoy a mani/pedi after our light lunch, complete with a foot massage by big brother, Garren. I think this was the birthday girl’s favorite part!  Mommy and Daddy loved every minute of it. I hope you enjoy these photos….definitely some memories we will cherish forever!

The Birthday girl….quite gorgeous, if I say so myself!
