Ah, the wedding toast! Imagine, the Best Man, in front of everyone, trying his best to get some laughs and tears from your wedding crowd. You and your now husband are raising your flutes to a toast that did happen to make you laugh and tear up a little.

Now imagine if that toast was even more special because you have a personalized flute to drink from.

Or say you aren’t going for the formal look. You’re wedding is an outdoor country wedding with self service. What about placing these super cute Decanters from Simply Personalized in ice atop each farm table?

What? You don’t have an extra few hundred dollars to get this look? Nonsense!
This project is easy, costs under $2 per item and seriously took 5 minutes.
(My type of DIY, right?)

For this project I imagined a Best Man giving a toast with his favorite beer in hand. He can’t give the toast with his bottle, right?

So of course I made him a Best Man Glass Mug!

I started out with this old fashion glass mug.
(Something about it just screams Clint Eastwood!)

Added a “Best Man” label to it.

Liberally applied Etching Cream over the label.
(Got mine for $12 over at Hobby Lobby, just in case you were wondering.)

Let it sit for about 20 minutes and wiped away the excess.

And there you go… Best Man gift and special mug!

Now go ahead, find some glassware and etch ’til your heart’s content!
