We are back! It has been way too long since our last blog post but we are back to share some awesome weddings. First up is Lydia and Luke. Lydia and Luke’s wedding last fall was a blast. I mean check out the groom’s dance moves! Lydia wanted to honor her heritage by having the traditional Chinese wedding reception. I learned that this means lots and lots of food! It was a 10-course feast of some of the most delcious Chinese food I have ever seen. Lydia also changed into a beautiful Cheongsam, chinese dress, for the reception. It was a beautiful wedding and I am so happy I got to be a part of it!

When we met with Lucy about her August wedding I was so excited to hear she wanted a brunch time wedding! There is something sweetly southern about a brunch wedding to me. Mimosa’s, bloodymary’s, sundresses, hydrangea’s, shrimp and grits, and bluegrass are all things this southern girl loves. And to top it off Lucy and Wade were such a lovely couple to work with. Thanks for letting me share in your special. It was beautiful!

This summer was rain, rain, rain. I have grown up in Georgia and cannot remember another time when we had so much rain! So as Julia and Luke’s wedding day approached I was getting pretty nervous about their outdoor ceremony. Luckily, mother-nature was on our side and we squeezed in a beautiful ceremony outside in The Trolley Barn’s garden and were inside with twenty minutes to spare before the downpour. Whew!
Inside The Trolley Barn, Julia and Luke loved the natural beauty of the venue and accenuated it with rustic decor and wildflowers. My favorite personal touch they added was their “table names”. Each table had a trail name on it that Julia and Luke had hiked together. And the wedding party table was labeled ‘Great Rocky Mountains” where they went to hike on their honeymoon! How cute is that?!
